Polished Diamonds also source our Diamonds directly from qualified, ethical and trusted Diamontaires who actually cut each diamond. Your satisfaction is guaranteed because each client views their Diamond Ring in 3D architectural Computer Aided Design (CAD). This technology h models the ring with accurate measurements much like a building plan from an architect. The CAD profiling allows each client to view, change or approve each design before we make it. Think about it - each ring is custom made for each unique client, so not only is the piece precision made, hand-set, hand-polished and hand-finished but the special lady will be the first and only person to wear the ring. Quite unique, very rewarding and shows that you made the effort to have a ring custom made especially for her - she's bound to say YES!
Let's break it all down a bit further:
 Our Diamonds are cut by the worlds leading Diamontaires. A strict code of conduct ensures all our Diamonds are conflict free and completely natural.
Once the rough diamond is cut by a master craftsman the diamond is sent to be independently analysed and certified. The GIA (Gemological Institute of America) are used to certify the majority of the diamonds we sell. The GIA is the World's leader in diamond grading, and invented the certification process that all laboratories use today (so they can be trusted 101%). The GIA methods and certification are prudent, reliable and very trustworthy. The GIA has graded and certified the worlds most expensive diamonds, so who better than to grade yours!
By purchasing direct from leading diamond cutters and using the GIA to certify the diamonds, we guarantee a sparkling treasure with every purchase.
Next, is the Ring or Jewelry item itself. We use Platinum and 18kt Gold for our jewelry and diamond rings. Before a piece is created, we require the finger size and the exact diamond measurements; we use this information to accurately model the rings in CAD (Computer Aided Design).
Using CAD in jewelry design enables an exact proportional image in 3D to be created. This file is emailed to you so you can view the actual proportions of how your ring will look. This enables you to change the design, perhaps select a larger diamond or a wider band etc. Once you are 100% happy with the design and the actual proportions of your Diamond Ring, we then start creating it for you in our own workshop. We are able to CAD profile any ring design; simply email us a photo and we profile any of our 40,000 listed GIA certified diamonds to suit your budget and expectations. Each ring is a unique 'one off' because they are each customised for specific clients. Our process is extra special and not only shows thought and careful consideration, but the result is many times better than the drab chain-based jewelry stores that mass produce rings often in very low quality. Our diamond rings are hand finished by industry leading jewelers and we personally review and loupe every piece to ensure our high standard is always achieved.
